Future agenda items for your consideration: just FYI at this time (no major discussion at this time).

·         UBC Human Geography Student Projects - the second project in partnership with the SPC will begin early next year

Community Foundation - Nancy Gale
There is an established Community Foundation Fund for our local region. It is funded in part by Gaming revenues, which are required by law to invest via municipal levies to community projects.

Public revenue and expense reports are available, and from the latest reports there is a significant amount of money that is available to be reinvested in the community.

Nancy Gale is starting a "task force" to identify how the community could best invest these dollars. It was noted that the City of Quesnel is a good example of how funding is distributed.

A motion was made for 2- 3 representatives from the SPC to participate in this task force - MFSC
